Therapist Wellbeing Check-In

Supporting others asks a great deal of us. This simple check-in is an invitation to notice how you are doing, both within your work and beyond it.

Take a few quiet moments and ask yourself:

How am I feeling as I begin my working day?

• What am I noticing in my body?

• Is my current caseload feeling manageable?

• Am I carrying anything from a particular client or session?

• Am I giving myself enough space between sessions?

• Is there something I need to take to supervision?

• What boundaries might need my attention?

• What am I doing outside of work that restores me?

• What do I need more of right now?

• What might I need less of?

A gentle reminder

Your wellbeing is part of your ethical practice. Making space to notice your own needs helps you remain present, grounded and connected to the work.

You might return to these questions weekly, monthly, or whenever you notice that something feels out of balance.
